East Perth Community Group – Great Winter Scavenger Hunt

East Perth Community Group (EPCG) GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt, supplied by Scavenger Hunts Australia – Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply:

The GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt is designed to be used by people from the age of 8 – 80 (or more!) either individually or in teams.  There is no limit to the number of participants in a team but only one version of the game will be recorded as downloaded for each team..

Please note: some prizes involve alcohol and will be restricted to participants 18 years of age or older.

COVID-19

The GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt has been designed to be available over a three-week period to minimise the risk that it will be greatly impacted by Covid-19 restrictions.  The GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt will mainly award points for activities and way points that are accessible outside and in the public realm, reducing the amount of public contact required.  For activities and special offers that involve entering a business premise, it is expected that each premise will have its own Covid-safe plan and is responsible for compliance with any restrictions in force.  Participants are expected to comply with any directions from the WA Government and also to follow any restrictions in force.

In the event that there are full or partial restrictions limiting the movement of people around the Perth CBD during the three week event (3 July to 24 July 2021), the East Perth Community Group reserves the right to either:

  • abandon the GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt
  • postpone the GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt
  • partially complete the GREAT Winter Scavenger Hunt – with proportional calculation of points required to enter the prize draw.

The East Perth Community Group and Scavenger Hunts Australia will make their decision in consultation with the major sponsor, the City of Perth.  Participating businesses will reserve their right to amend any offers according to the decisions made. No responsibility will be taken by EPCG if a participant is unable to redeem an offer as businesses adjust to the impact of Covid-19.
